Our time in Uganda is split between Kampala, the nation's capital in the south, and Gulu, a small town in the rural north. We'll spend each day with the local staff of Sports Outreach Institute (SOI), doing what they do and going where they go.
As part of Santa Barbara Community Church, we have had the privelege of supporting the work of SOI for over 20 years now. We're excited to have this chance to get over in person and be part of what they're doing. They're doing really good things! We expect to return with all kinds of stories to share, with highly impacted hearts, and with a much fuller sense of how to support them from our side of the world.
